Motorola to be investigated by EU over misuse of patents

The European Commission has revealed that it plans to launch an investigation into Motorola over its alleged unfair licensing terms for its fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory (FRAND) patents. The investigation is in response to complaints over Motorola's licensing activities from both Apple and Microsoft.
