RIM hit with lawsuit over patent infringement

Following its dismal quarterly report from last week, it seems like RIM just can't catch a break. The beleaguered smartphone manufacturer has now been hit with a lawsuit by NXP for allegedly infringing upon six of NXP's patents with RIM's smartphones. NXP, a Dutch company, wants compensatory and triple damages, and wants RIM to be forced to stop the alleged infringement.
